St Kitts and Nevis Olympic Team Set for Action at CAC Games 

St. Kitts and Nevis is participating in four events of the XXV Central American and Caribbean CAC Games Santo Domingo 2026. The tournament has commenced and it was scheduled to open on July 24 and will run until August 8, 2026.

This year the Dominican Republic is the host nation for the XXV Central American and Caribbean CAC Games. The opening ceremony of the games is held at the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium. This year the tournament is officially marking their 25th anniversary.

From St. Kitts and Nevis, the event had a total of 14 players representing the federation in four categories. The team is led by Senior Chef de Mission Leroy Greene and accompanied by Brenda Allen as General Team Manager. Doctor Dwain Archibald is overseeing the medical care of the St. Kitts and Nevis team throughout the games.

Additionally, in the 2026 tournament a total of 37 countries are competing against each other in 40 sports and more than 600 athletes are participating. The 2026 games is organized by the Centro Caribe Sports in collaboration with Santo Domingo 2026 Organising Committee. This year the Dominican Republic is hosting the games for the third time as they hosted the games in 1974 and 1986.

Moreover, this year the motto of the games is “The Centennial Games” and the theme of the opening ceremony was “100 Years of Unity, One Region, One Heart”. The St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee extended warm wishes along with safe travels and stated that they felt proud of the players for representing the federation in the international stage.
