The ICC is also known as the World Court and it is the judicial organ of the United Nations.
In the International Criminal Court the purpose of the courts is to ensure that any individual does not escape from the punishment for their crime. The ICC specifically holds jurisdictions on specifically in international crimes including genocide, war crimes, crime against humanity and the crime of aggression.
Moreover, the organisation’s working style is also different from the domestic courts as they only work when the country or regional national legal system cannot handle serious international crimes.
