The National Bank Group Folk Galore Competition will return to the streets of St Kitts and Nevis next week. The event will be a part of the national carnival lineup for the 54th edition of the Sugar Mas. The island has been conducting street activities as part of their folk group with the members of the community.

The St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee has shared that the programme will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The Group Folk galore is a celebration of the culture and traditions of St Kitts and Nevis in a series of activities.

Groups from all over the world will participate in the initiative with the members of the community participating as guests and audiences. The folk Galore Competition will be hosted at the Bay road in Basseterre.

The parade and the events will start at 4:30 and people of the country are cordially invited by the organizers of the event to participate and support the performers. The event will feature a number of activities including masquerade, folk groups and more.

The organizers have said that this is one of the most culturally rich staging of the country and pays tribute to the generations of traditional history of St Kitts and Nevis. The people of the country will be given the opportunity to support the performers and honor the legacy of music, dance, masquerade and more.

The National Bank Group Folk Galore Competition has been an annual tradition which takes over the streets of St Kitts every Carnival Season. The organizers shared that it is crucial that such traditions be carried forward and be preserved.

The Bull Competition will also be part of the lineup of events hosted as a part of the National Bank Group Folk Galore Competition.

The event will be an opportunity for working with the members of the community on leading tribute for the nation and its people.
