One of the six culprits who have been arrested in connection with a 772 Kilogram Cocaine Seizure in the sea territory of British Virgin Islands has been identified as a resident of St Kitts and Nevis. The officials  who are investigating the case of the cocain possession has confirmed that the six men have ben charged. 

The case falls under the jurisdiction of the British Virgin Islands Police as the arrests were made in BVI Territory. The officers have shared that the nationals  of St Kitts and Nevis has been identified as Candido Rios Quezada.

The officials have shared that the Kittitian and Nevisian National was accompanied by the  five more people. The identities of the other five apprehended culprits have been identified as:

  • 21 year old Francisco Mejia Ortiz
  • 39 year old man Joel Santana Santos, 
  • 40 year old Jermife Toribio Vasquez, 

All three individuals were residents of the all of the Dominican Republic meanwhile the rest of the two culprits, identified as Cesar Diaz Abrahim who is 30 years and Ronald James who is 49 years of age are both the residents of Trinidad and Tobago.

The Police force off the British Virgin Islands has confirmed that they  will be presented in front of a magistrate soon. The authorities have confirmed the seizure of more than 770 kilograms of cocaine. 

The officials have shared that the seizure of the drugs is a part of the country’s continuous efforts to discourage crimes of this form. The police force has conducted a series of drug busts which has been working with the people of the country.

The officials conducted a similar operation in 2025 June where they confiscated approximately 1,440 kuilograms of drugs in the region. This was a result of a multiple organizations coming together and was conducted with the aim of dissuading trans national crime in the country.
