ST. KITTS AND NEVIS GOVERNMENT FACILITATES ELECTRONIC VEHICLE TRAINING AS PART OF SUSTAINABLE ISLAND STATE AGENDA
As part of the Sustainable Island State Agenda, the government of St. Kitts and Nevis is facilitating a comprehensive training program on Electronic Vehicles (EVs) for key personnel.
The training, which consists of three modules—Awareness, Repair, and Certification—is being conducted by Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC).
On Wednesday, January 15th, Prime Minister, Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew, Deputy Prime Minister the Honourable Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, along with other key officials, visited CFBC to receive updates on the course outline and the progress of the participants.
Dr. Wayne Archibald, the Founder and Executive Director of Green Solution International SKN Incorporated, is providing the certification for the training.
Honourable Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of the training, noting that it will be particularly valuable following the recent procurement of two electric school buses.
This government initiative underscores its commitment to reducing the island’s carbon footprint and promoting environmentally friendly transportation alternatives.
The EV training is a key component of the government’s broader strategy to transition to a more sustainable future, and participants are expected to play an integral role in supporting the adoption of electric vehicles in St. Kitts and Nevis.
