PM Terrance Drew welcomes Nigerian Technical Aid Corps to support Healthcare and Education growth
St Kitts and Nevis welcomed the delegation from the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps professionals to the island. The arrival of the team will help in improving the health and education among other things. The officials have shared that the technical aid corps arrived at the island on Monday.
They were welcomed by a delegation of Ministers from the administration of the country including PM Terrance Drew, Deputy Prime Minister, Geoffrey Hanley and Dr Denzil Douglas. The senior officers of the government were also present to welcome the team.
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis has shared that the members of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps will be living and working with the people of St Kitts and Nevis. They will support the development of the health and education sector in the next two years.
The officials have shared that the team from Nigeria will work with St Kitts and Nevis for the people of the island to grow their capacity. The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis has shared that the arrival of the team is part of the two nation’s collaboration on mutual growth in the various sectors.
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, on behalf of St Kitts and Nevis has advocated for the development of better cooperation and relationship between Nigeria and St Kitts and Nevis. Dr Drew said that he was honored to welcome the team of Nigerian doctors and teachers.
He shared that he was also delighted to see some of the members of the team, the Nigerian doctors were trained right here in St Kitts and Nevis for some time. This highlights the growing significance of the collaboration between St Kitts and Nevis and Nigeria.
