PM Terrance Drew meets Justice Winston Anderson during Trinidad and Tobago trip

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew has announced that during his visit to Trinidad and Tobago on Friday, January 30, he met with Justice Winston Anderson. Dr Drew said that the meeting was aimed towards facilitating the discussions important matters relating to court.
As the Chair of the CARICOM, Dr Drew talked to Justice Anderson about the important role played by the court in strengthening the governance and the justice systems in the region. The Prime Minister Dr Drew was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Caribbean Community, Dr Carla Barnett.
Dr Drew and Secretary General Barnett continued their discussion on the topic of increased cooperation between the two regions. The Prime Minister met with the leaders in Trinidad as a part of his meetings mandate of improving the collaborations in the Caribbean Community.
He said that they want to reinforce the institutions which have an important role in serving the interests of the people of the island. The meeting highlights the CARICOM Chair’s dedication to making sure that the region can grow in a productive and sustainable manner
Dr Terrance Drew shared some images from his visit and meeting with Justice Winston Anderson. The Prime Minister was also accompanied by his wife, Mr Diani Jimesha Drew during his visit.
Dr Terrance Drew was received by the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago with warmth. PM Persad-Bissessar also noted that she was delighted to have the opportunity to interact with the CARICOM Chair.
The state visits and outreach will continue with PM Drew visiting other nations and leaders across the region. The Minister has shared that the members of the CARICOM will be given the chance to share their concerns and come forward with suggestions on areas that need better collaboration.
The visits are aimed at promoting a better and more impactful working relationship between the CARICOM nations.
