Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 21, 2024 (RSCNPF) — The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is investigating a traffic accident that led to the death of 29-year-old Simoneth Williams of St. Peter’s, St. Kitts.
The incident occurred on December 20, 2024, between 11:30 PM and midnight, on the island’s main road in New Road, near the fencing of the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport’s runway.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Ms. Williams was struck by a vehicle while walking along the main road. She was promptly transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital by ambulance for medical treatment but tragically succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force’s Crime Scene Unit processed the scene and collected items of evidential value. Both the vehicle and its driver have been identified, and an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
