Four Cruise ships docked at the shores of St Kitts and Nevis on Tuesday bringing nearly 12,000 cruise passengers to the island. The cruise ships, The Arvia, AIDASol, Holland America “Koningsdam” and Marella Explorer all docked at the shores of the island early morning on Tuesday. 

The arrivals of the multiple ships kickstarted a highly productive cruise day for the federation It was a lucrative day for tourism stakeholders and small businesses who got  the opportunity to welcome and serve thousands of travellers

The Arvia, which sailed into St Kitts from Martinique  was carrying more than 5,000 passengers on board. The AIDASol sailed into Port Zante with 2,162 passengers, the ship was coming from Antigua and spent the day at Port Zante. 

The third cruise ship, Holland America “Koningsdam” carried  a total of 2,460  passengers. Finally, the Marella Explorer II sailed in from Barbados with 1,909 passengers. 

With four cruise arrivals. Tuesday marked one of the largest cruise arrivals in the island in November. According to the locals and businesses situated at Port Zante, most of the passengers from the four ships disembarked to experience the offerings of the island. 

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew also  shared the images of the four docked cruise ships on his social media. He was proud to see that  the island was hosting a massive influx of travellers to their shores in a single day. 

The local population of St Kitts and Nevis has also expressed their excitement on seeing the continued growth of the St Kitts and Nevis Tourism sector. Thousands of visitors fot the opportunity to experience the unique offerings of the island nation. 

The arrivals of multiple ships also highlights the growing popularity of St Kitts and Nevis as a trusted cruise destination. During the 2025-26 cruise season, St kitts and Nevis is expected to welcome more than 20 cruise ships for their inaugural visit to the island. 

These inaugural visits are also proof that the cruise companies are looking towards St Kitts and Nevis as a favorite destination for cruise tourism.
