Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew will be addressing the members of the media on February 17, 2026. This is the second roundtable conference of the year, organized every month in order to ensure that the public can remain aware of the major developments which are taking place in the country.
The Prime Minister will be speaking to the media as a part of his mandate to improve transparency and promote better understanding between the public and the government. Since the previous edition of the Prime Minister’s Roundtable, significant developments have taken place in the country.
Some of these developments include the groundbreaking of the Creative Arts Center and the developments in the tourism sector.
The Prime Minister has also, in the last few weeks taken several trips across the region to meet with the heads of States of the Caribbean Community. The visits were part of the Prime Minister’s outreach Initiative.
The Prime Minister, who currently holds the position of the Chairperson of the Caribbean Community, will be addressing the workings of the organization. He is also expected to speak about the upcoming 50th Annual General Meeting of the CARICOM Head of the Governments.
The event will be hosted in St Kitts between February 24 and February 27 and will bring all the leaders of the Caribbean Community together. The Prime Minister will be starting his interaction with the members of the media at 1:30 PM on Tuesday.
The Roundtable Conference will be carried live for the people of the country to watch on the official social media page of SKNIS. The other carriers who will also be streaming the interaction live include the ZIZ online and other local news channels.
The Prime Minister’s Roundtable is a monthly event hosted with the aim of continuing exchange of information and maintaining stringent communication with the people of the country. The previous edition of the Roundtable was hosted on January 8, 2026.
