
St Kitts welcomed more than 10,000 cruise passengers to the island on the last day of the month. With the arrival of more than 10,000 to the island on Saturday, the total number of passengers who landed on the island throughout the month of January 2026 came to be 185,574. The island saw the arrivals of 82 ships to their shores throughout the whole month.
The officials have shared that during the last week of January 2026, the island welcomed just over 44,000 passengers. The number suggests that on an average, every day of the week was marked by arrivals of multiple cruise ships.
On the final day of the month, St Kitts welcomed four cruise ships to the island. The cruise ships which docked on the island were Viking Sea, Koningsdam, Enchanted Princess and the Costa Fascionosa.
The Viking Sea came into the island with a total of 901 passengers on board. Next, the Koningsdam had a total of 2,517 passengers on board. The Enchanted Princess sailed into the island with a total of 3,527 passengers and the Costa Fascionosa came to the island with a massive 3,190 passengers.
The officials have shared that they were delighted to see the influx of passengers choosing to visit the island. The officials have shared that the members of the community were delighted to see the growth of the tourism sector.
The small businesses which are benefitting from the arrival of more cruise ships and passengers have shared their delight. During the week starting January 25, the island saw the arrivals of 44,031 passengers. This remarkable number has been achieved with the support of the people of the island.
The officials have shared that the numbers that they are seeing are the result of the work done by tourism stakeholders and the partnerships created and strengthened between the federation as a destination and the international companies partners which have been bringing their cruise ships and flights to the island nation.
