
The St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) has clocked in 94 years as a political party on January 25, 2026. The political party is the longest running political party in the region. The supporters and stakeholders of the labour movement came together to celebrate this milestone with the leaders of the party on Sunday.
The Labour supporters gathered together for a thanksgiving service for the history and legacy of the political party. The thanksgiving service was hosted at the Life in the Word National Church of God. The church is situated in the Challengers community of Constituency 4.
The leadership shared that the event was presided over by Pastor Hepburn who welcomed them with his wife.
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis has shared some images from the thanksgiving service. The church hall was filled with people who have seen in the political party through the years of its history.
The Prime Minister has expressed his pride in the history of the political party which he has been leading for nearly half a decade. He said that he was grateful for the service that was organized in order to celebrate the day.
Dr Drew highlighted that on the day marking the 94th years of the political party, they pay tribute to the forefathers who laid the foundations for the revolution. The foundation stone was laid for the political party in the year 1932.

Dr Denzil Douglas, Current Minister of Foreign Affairs (2022-Present) and former Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis. (1995-2015)
