The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Terrance Drew welcomed the 2024-25 cohort of the 25 Most Remarkable Teens. The government honors a group of 25 children for their contribution to the various sectors of St Kitts and Nevis.
PM Drew and his wife, Jimesha Prince Drew hosted the children for dinner at their residence to honor and appreciate them. The Prime Minister and his wife organized the dinner on Sunday and had the opportunity to interact with the youngsters.
The Prime Minister said that the evening was most productive as he had the opportunity to engage in very important discussions with the youngsters throughout the evening. He made it a point to hear the youngsters’ concern and reaffirmed his commitment to service and the nation.
The official dinner was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffrey Hanley and Junior Minister Isalean Phillip. The two Ministers have been working with the Ministry of Youth and Gender Affair.
Dr Drew appreciated Dr Geoffrey Hanley and Minster Phillip for their attendance at the event. The Prime Minister said that he was honored to welcome the presence and underscored the inspiration behind the events such as this for the youngsters.
He said the Ministers’ attendance was proof of the organization’s collective dedication to nurturing and supporting the young generation of St Kitts and Nevis.
The insight, confidence, and values demonstrated by these awardees were deeply encouraging for the Prime Minister. He said that the children have potential for leading the nation in the future. Their leadership potential affirms my confidence that our nation’s future rests securely in capable hands.
The Prime Minister shared some images from the event on his social media where was seen celebrating the children who have contributed significantly to the growth of the nation. Lady Drew was also present at the event for the people of the island.
