Dr Terrance Drew honored the longstanding service of Constable Donaly Liburd who gave 38 years of her life to the service of the people in St kitts and Nevis. As Constable Liburd retires after decades of work for the police department of the island nation.
The Prime Minister of the country acknowledged the work that the constable has been doing. He said that he acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the traffic officer during her years of duty.
The Prime Minster said that Constable Liburd has contributed significantly to the traffic department of St Kitts and Nevis. Her work in her field has been hailed as a proof of her selflessness and professionalism.
The Prime Minister said that she has always put her nation and its people above herself in her years of duty for St Kitts and Nevis Traffic Department. As such, the Prime Minister also called her an inspiration for the police officers and the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis.
The Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew and Minister Samal Duggins extended their sincere gratitude to Donaly Liburd. In show of their support and gratitude the two ministers witnessed her last official traffic duty directing traffic.
They were joined by the retiring officer’s family, friends and colleagues at the Traffic Police Department of St Kitts and Nevis. The Prime Minister shared some images from the final shift the officer and called it a fitting close to her career which spanned nearly four decades.
The Prime Minister thanked for her service and extended his best wishes for Constable Liburd to find fulfillment in whatever she choses to do next.
