RSCNPF takes quick action on individual threatening violence in social media video 

The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police force (RSCNPF) has arrested the man who had issued threats of violence against members of the public through a video. The individual has been charged with incitement. The Police Force has issued a statement on Sunday. In the statement, the police had not yet identified the individual who had issued the threat. 

The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force has shared that they are treating this incident as a priority. The officers have shared that they are  engaging in prompt and targeted investigative work. 

The officials have shared that they have identified a person who was responsible for recording the video. The police officers issued a search warrant and collected some evidences to make the arrest of the responsible individual. 

The arrest of the individual is also proof that St Kitts and Nevis law enforcement is swift and effective in dealing with criminal activity. The officers have shared that they are assuring the nationals of St Kitts and Nevis and the visitors of the country that St Kitts and Nevis remains a safe and secure destination. 

The Police force has clarified that the irresponsible unlawful behaviours from some unruly individuals will not be allowed to ruin the Christmas and carnival season. The island nation and all its people are enjoying the holidays. The ongoing Sugar Mas 54 Carnival is one of the most anticipated carnival events in the region.

The Police officers from the Royal St Christopher and Nevis have shared that they will not allow incidents like this to disrupt the vibe of the carnival. The police force has confirmed that they take threats of violence very seriously. 

The Police officers have further communicated that the threat can be communicated through the internet or in person, it will warrant equal, quick action. Any messages that encourage criminal conduct are considered a form of criminal conduct.
