The Minister of Energy, Information, Communication technology, Konris Maynard, met with the Minister of New and Renewable energy, Pralhad Joshi during his visit to India for the 8th sitting of the International Solar Alliance. The meeting focussed on the discussion of the the use and procurement of renewable energy for St Kitts and Nevis.
The two leaders discussed their goal to bring renewable energy to prominence through international partnerships. The ISA, which sat down for their eighth session this week serves as a platform for the world leaders to improve their collaboration in the development of solar energy.
Minister Joshi and Minister Konris Maynard also discussed how hospitals are being run with the help of Solar Energy. This discussion proves that Solar Energy, when utilized at its full potential can transform the energy utilization mechanics, making establishements run completely on green energy.
Both the ministers have expressed their dedication to transitioning to clean renewable energy during their meeting. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi and Minister Konris Maynard discussed the importance of switching their energy consumption to renewable sources as it can be a major step in the direction of climate action.
